A Festival? Pour Moi?
Just stumbled on an old post from Mike Daisy on Moxie. He says:

Moxie: The soda that tastes like root beer and dead fish, mixed with love and dirt.
That's right folks, tastes like root beer and dead fish, mixed with love and dirt. I'd say that about sums me up! Well, you know. Except for maybe the dead fish part.
And look! A festival! All for Moxie!!!

Well, maybe it doesn't exactly *taste* like dead fish, but dead fish are definitely involved here.
I'd compare it more to carbonated Vegemite, without the good parts.
