Just got my first-ever hate mail
Does this mean I've "made it" as a blogger? Reader Brian Cashman writes:
You are a snarky fucking idiot. Your blog is beyond annoying, and who ever told you that your opinion mattered or had any merit whatsoever. Your reviews, theatre especially, are so unintelligent as to be laughable.
Oh my goodness! Thank you for reading, Brian, and keep on spreading cheer throughout the internets!

But apparently he doesn't realize that he could just NOT read your blog....
I think when someone lashes out at blogger, it tends to mean you've made it.
Although, I'm with BrookLyn Gal, most of those people don't realize you can just NOT read someone's blog.

Definitely puts a big grin on my face. The subject of that email was "Blog Review," which I love.
Update: I wrote back to Brian, thanking him for his input, and asking which parts he hates most, aside from the reviews (just out of curiosity). Haven't heard back yet.
If he's so much better, then I encourage him to start his own blog. And just for the record, I return to your blog day after day because it's one of the best theatre reads out there.
